This knife is a great improvement upon the classic 110. The knife is overall shorter, the blade is shorter and with the plastic bolsters. This knife is not very heavy. The 110 is a not a great pocket knife. It is a great knife, but not made to be carried in a pocket. This 112 is so light you do not notice it in your pocket. Also when you reach into your pocket this knife does not overpower your pocket and become the first thing you grab. The 112 settles into your pocket and is easy to reach in and find it or just your keys. This knife has the feel of a 110 and carries all the great attributes of the classic 110 only in a slightly smaller more friendlier size.
