Everything is a trade-off.You can buy pages that are thicker. But you will also pay a substantial premium on those thicker pages.These pages are thinner but once you get them into your binder and the bills loaded into the slots on the pages, you won’t be as likely to notice the thinner pages.Getting the pages loaded into my binder was a nightmare. The pages kept slipping and sliding. I was unable to load more than two pages at a time due to not being able to get the holes to line up and slide onto the binder rings.This is the reason for the 4 star rating. I finally ended up loading one page at a time. I wanted to put 50 pages into this binder so it took a bit of time.I’m not sure how much I like or dislike the opening of each pocket.They open to the inside of the page. That means I won’t have to worry about the bills sliding out of the pockets and getting damaged or having anything happen to them.At the same time, I have small notes that I slide into the pockets with my currency to remind me or where the bill came from or any other personal details about it.Example: My grandfather went to the bank the day the new 1976 $2 bills were released. He bought a mess of them and took them across the street to the Post Office. He stamped them all then had the postmaster hand-cancel each one showing the date on each bill. He made sure each of us got one.This is the kind of details I like to include with my collection.The way these pockets are designed, it will be difficult to neatly slip the notes into the pockets.With long enough tweezers, the notes can be slipped in so I did not reduce my rating of these pages due to that.The number of pages for the price outweighs the negatives so I think you will be happy that you ordered this set of pages for your bills.MADE IN CHINA.
